What began as a request to solve a tricky living room layout quickly morphed into a full reimagining of this 1904 Arts & Crafts home for contemporary life. Studio Trovato expanded the original three-bed, one-bath footprint to add three bathrooms, creating a primary suite, adding a striking powder room and a dedicated bath for kids. The reimagined kitchen is anchored by deep olive green cabinetry and a bespoke hexagonal tile pattern underfoot. Handmade zellige tile wraps the backsplash and walk-in pantry. Vintage furnishings were sourced far and wide — from Round Top, Texas, to Sonoma, California, to London and Paris and custom pieces meet the home’s exact needs — bringing history and specificity into every room. Every intervention was made with a light, sensitive hand, honoring the home's Arts and Crafts character while making it feel unmistakably suited to how a family lives today.
